01 — The jumps

Where you can actually jump

We are the desk, not the tower. These are the operators running bungee in Bali right now — we hold the slot, confirm their limits in writing, and tell you when a venue is not worth booking.

Alas Harum, Ubud — the jump site

Ask us

Alas Harum, Ubud

Ask for price

An adventure park above the Tegalalang rice terraces, where the bungee sits alongside the swings and the zipline. The easiest first jump in Bali and the cheapest by a wide margin.

Best for
First-timers, and anyone already going to Ubud

Go Bungy, Tukad Bangkung — the jump site

Ask us

Go Bungy, Tukad Bangkung

Quoted per date

A crane jump from the Tukad Bangkung bridge at Plaga, high in the Badung uplands over a forested ravine. The operator describes it as the only bungy crane jump on the island.

Type
Operator: Go Bungy Bali
Best for
Repeat jumpers and anyone wanting height over jungle

Nusa Penida's Extreme Park runs the highest jump in Southeast Asia at 130 m, and we are not booking it: Klungkung authorities ordered it shut over unresolved licensing. Ask us and we will tell you where that stands today. Age, weight and health limits are set by each operator — we confirm them for your venue before you pay.

02 — Jump day

What actually happens

Ninety minutes to two and a half hours on site, of which the fall is about three seconds. Here is the rest of it.

Arrive

Hotel pickup if you booked transport, otherwise come 30 to 60 minutes before your slot.

Check in

Sign the waiver, declare your health, put everything loose in a locker.

Weigh in

Weighed twice by two people. The cord is chosen from that number, so it is not a formality.

Harness up

Full-body harness and ankle system, fitted and checked by a second jump master.

Briefing

The sequence, the backup systems, and the countdown. Small groups, no queue theatre.

Jump

Two to four seconds of freefall, then the rebound. Winch or raft brings you back.

03 — Safety

The part we are boring about

Every number below is one we are held to, not one we advertise. Ask to see the log on the day and you will be shown it.

01

Licence, in writing

Before you pay

We ask each operator for their current tourism business licence and send it to you on request. A venue that will not produce one is a venue we will not book.

02

Their standard, named

Per operator

Equipment and procedure belong to whoever runs the tower. We ask which standard they work to and attribute the answer to them rather than claiming it ourselves.

03

Limits confirmed per venue

Age · weight · health

Every operator sets their own, and they differ. We confirm the ones that apply to your booking before a deposit changes hands, not at the desk on the day.

04

We will say no

When it is warranted

Nusa Penida's Extreme Park is under a shutdown order from Klungkung authorities over licensing. We are not booking it, and we would rather lose the sale than place you there.

05

Your own insurance

Check the exclusions

Many travel policies exclude bungee jumping by default under adventure sports. Read yours before you book — that cover is yours, not something we or the operator provide.

04 — The drop

What a jump looks like

Stock photography, not our own sites — we are the booking desk. Tap any frame to open it full size.

05 — The price

What the number covers

What a jump includes differs by operator. This is the shape of it — we confirm the exact inclusions for your venue in writing before you pay.

In the price

  • The jump itself
  • Full safety briefing
  • All equipment rental
  • Certificate of completion
  • Drinking water

Optional extras

  • Video package, filmed on a wrist-mounted GoPro
  • Photo package
  • Transport, arranged separately where the venue does not include it

06 — Questions

The ones everybody asks

Is bungee jumping in Bali safe?

It depends entirely on the operator, which is the honest answer and the reason this desk exists. We ask each venue for its licence and the standard it works to, and we pass both to you. We are currently not booking Nusa Penida's Extreme Park, which is under a shutdown order over licensing.

What should I wear?

Comfortable, secure clothing — a t-shirt and shorts or athletic wear. Closed-toe shoes. No skirts or dresses. Jewellery, hats and glasses come off before you jump.

Can I get a video of my jump?

At most venues, yes, as a paid add-on. What is offered and what it costs differs by operator, so we confirm it with your booking rather than promising it here.

How far ahead should I book?

A few days is usually enough, and longer from June to September when Bali is busiest. Send the dates you have and we will tell you what is actually available.

How long does it take?

Allow a couple of hours at the venue, and a full day if you are going as far as Plaga or crossing to Nusa Penida. The freefall itself is a few seconds.

What if the weather turns?

The operator running your jump makes that call, not us and not you. We hold their rebooking and refund terms in writing and send them with your confirmation, so you know where you stand before the weather does anything.

07 — Book

The moment is waiting

Message us with a date and how many of you there are. We answer within four hours during opening time — no form, no booking engine, no account to make.
